We are building in a rural setting - there is no public sewer system. Instead, we need to have a septic system for all our waste and waste water.
Who knew a hole could be so exciting...
But, it's the first step in applying for a building permit.
We hit water about 6.5' down, and passed the percolation test per county requirements.
