Little Nevada

We opted to name our little piece of heaven "Little Nevada" for two reasons.

One, we most recently were living in Nevada for 3 years.  It was a great adventure, and we hold a special place in our hearts for the state of Nevada.

Two, look at the shape of our lot!  We had a good chuckle when the surveyor sent us the site plan and we couldn't deny the shape.

When it's a high runoff year and farmers are flood irrigating, we even get a mini Lake Tahoe to the left and Lake Mead down south.  :)

Plans are being drawn by an architect, in the process of doing a lot line adjustment with the county to create this nevada shaped lot.  We will need to bring all utilities in, including pulling a well permit.

Lots to learn and accomplish with this project.  But, we plan to do majority of it ourselves, and learn along the way!
